Sara Reddick is the co-owner of Torin Productions, a video production company, in Portland, Oregon. She has a college background in creative writing, editing and grant writing. She spent 15 years of her professional career as a Holistic Nutrition Therapist and Personal Trainer. She joins the board of the Gould Syndrome Foundation as a bereaved parent. She is a mom of 2 children, one who had COL4A1, and died at the age of 2 due to respiratory failure directly related to complications of the disease. Her experience and professional expertise offers our board perspective into the seriousness and unpredictable nature of the COL4A1 mutation through the eyes of a mom. She hopes to help raise awareness, provide parent and caregiver support, and make strides to offer better treatment options for those born with this genetic mutation.
